FAQ
Common questions.
What do I need to send for my personal tax return?
Your slips (T4, T5, T3, and similar), receipts for deductions like RRSP contributions, medical expenses, and donations, and last year’s notice of assessment if you’re a new client. If you’re not sure whether something matters, send it anyway and we’ll sort it.
When should I incorporate?
It depends on your income, whether you need all of it personally, and your liability exposure. Incorporating too early adds cost and filings without much benefit. We can walk through the numbers with you before you decide.
I’m behind on my taxes or bookkeeping. Can you help?
Yes. Catch-up work is common. We’ll get the books current, file the outstanding returns, and set you up so it doesn’t pile up again.
Do you handle CRA letters and reviews?
Yes. If the CRA sends you a review letter or asks for documents, we prepare the response and deal with them on your behalf.
Do you work with clients outside Burlington?
Yes. Most of our work can be done remotely, so we work with clients across Ontario.
What languages do you work in?
English and French.
